Rome recently announced that they are making their CreditRisk product available as a web-based software subscription to small and medium sized businesses, and are calling it CreditRisk OnDemand. The solution will be hosted on Rome’s servers and offer clients the ability to upload data via Excel.

I suspect the offering will be successful, as more and more organizations are becoming accepting of ASP solutions. It’s a smart move that will ultimately allow Rome to sell into a market segment that previously may have not had the where-with-all to afford a full scale credit risk management solution.
