Triple Point just announced the signing of Engen, South Africa’s largest integrated oil and gas company, to the joint Triple Point/SAP product, Commodity Management. As part of the Commodity Management solution, Triple Point is licensing Commodity SL, their energy trading and risk management system which has been fully integrated for use with SAP’s ERP solution.

This deal continues the recent run of success for Triple Point associated with their SAP partnership announced in September of last year. While the fruits of the partnership took some time to develop, Triple Point has now announced three deals for the joint product in the last two months. Michael Schwartz, Triple Point’s chief marketing officer, tells me that there could be more to announce by the end of this year. Additionally, based on their current sales pipeline, Michael is projecting that 2008 could be yet another sales record year for the company.
