The most amazing site

Sometimes you (I guess I should say one here, my English teacher would be disgusted) run across a site that makes you say OMG (Oh my God!).  I’m doing research for the webinar on Friday and found this most amazing list of corporate blogs.

Anyone on the fence wordering whether they should consider blogging should jump on over and take a look….. I think the question is “can you afford not to?”  I was blown away at the access that is possible to senior executives, to see their point of view, and gain insights into them and their companies.

Andrew - from the lists of site on the link you provided, I made my way to a blog that was of interest to me. When I arrived, I saw all sorts of negative posts about a topic that I’ve been involved with for ten years. Naturally, I felt the urge to jump in and politely disagree with some of the negative comments - as in my ten years with the topic, I’ve never had a problem. I was then quickly rebuked … and so it began. My heart is pounding in anticipation of my next post … and the multitude of repsonse to that post.

And so today’s question to you is … in the many blogs I’m sure you participate in, do you find people are rather argumentitive? Brave in their anonimity, so they don’t feel the need to hold back their true feelings - as we might do in a face to face conversation?

Additionally, perhaps blogs should come with a disclaimer that those people who don’t like to be contradicted or corrected should BEWARE. :)

(Several minute later, I’m still all worked up … and repeatedly hitting “refresh” to see what others have to say in response to my post on that blog …)

Yea I think that people online in general tend to be more brave in their anonymity. Sometimes this can be good because people can get things off their chests, most times it is a completely frustrating spouting rubbish. I tend to ignore posts from people who won’t publish their email address and use their real name. That tends to bring things to a more even keel. My name is Andrew Bruce. My email address is abruce@utilipoint.com. My phone number is 281-681-8073.
